100_0887Today’s post is going to answer some frequently asked questions about using liquid latex, hopefully this information will be handy for those just getting started.

1. How do you apply Liquid Latex?
The Liquid Latex body paints sold through our website are the only FDA approved, AMMONIA FREE, Liquid Latex body paints available. To apply our paints, cover the areas of the body you wish to apply paint to with our ‘Body Prep” lotion, not only will this ensure the paint adheres properly to the skin, but it will make removal later much easier. Then with a sponge, paintbrush, or airbrush apply several coats of product, allowing 10-15 minutes of drying time between each coat. (This process can be sped up with the use of a hair dryer set on low heat.) Once the desired design has been attained, simply spray your paint with our Liquid Latex Fantasy Finish spray and show off your new look.

2. Can your paints be applied to the face?
Yes! Especially since our formula is manufactured with FDA approved ingredients, and is hypoallergenic.

3. Can I wear Liquid Latex body paint outside of my home?
This is also a yes, not only is latex body paint legal to wear, it’s great for Halloween costumes, Comic Convention Cosplay, or any occasion where a stand-out costume is needed.

4. How do I get it off?
When you are ready to remove your design, simply peel at the edges and pull away, for any stubborn or sensitive areas use our Liquid latex body clean which is designed to aid in the removal of Liquid Latex Body paint. Simply rub the body clean into the latex with your fingertips for about one minute. Soon you will see the latex slowly start to separate from your skin.
